Stable Funding. Strong Schools.

November 2023 Referendum

ISD 318 is dedicated to excellence.

Over the past decade, we have faced significant financial challenges as state funding has not kept pace with the rising costs of education. After years of temporary fixes and budget cuts, we need a new solution.

Unlike ISD 318, most school districts in Minnesota rely on voter-approved funding for support. In November, we are proposing to do the same – use voter-approved funding to invest in our students, staff and schools.

Over the past year, district leaders listened to what staff, parents, students and residents want and expect from their schools. Based on this feedback, the school board has proposed a plan to provide the funding we need to  invest in our students, staff and schools.

On Tuesday, November 7, ISD 318 voters will be asked to consider three levies, which if approved, would provide the funding we need to
stabilize our finances, restore programming and advance excellence.

The community helped shape this plan, and ultimately residents will have the final say. We are committed to sharing information and resources to help residents make an informed choice.
